GER has been collaborating extensively with Winrock International on using Winrock’s industry leading carbon assessment methodologies and threat estimation models. Winrock has been instrumental in GER’s project designs and for GER’s projects meeting Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS) and Climate, Community and Biodiversity Alliance (CCBA) standards and guidelines. Winrock will also perform extensive on the ground monitoring services for GER.

GER’s legal team is led by Baker & McKinsey which has provided significant input into GER’s corporate structure, business design, project agreements, and overall regulatory approach.

Malinau Regency - www.malinau.go.id
GER has been collaborating with Malinau Regency in the province of East Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo since late 2006. The strong commitment to and shared philosophy of forest conservation by the Head of the Regency has made this a natural partnership.

PT Inhutani II
PT Inhutani II chose Global Eco Rescue through a public tender process to be its partner in developing the first cental government approved avoided deforestation project in Indonesia that will be subject to VCS and CCBA verification.

BPKEL
The Government of Aceh has created BPKEL (Aceh Conservation Agency) with the purpose of protection, monitoring, and enforcement oversight of the Leuser Ecosystem. GER’s project in Aceh has been working closely with BPKEL since 2008.
